China Connection and Relationship

Every business deal and personal favor require connection in monetary beneficial or relationship in friendship, relatives, family or love. Regardless on what races, religion, gender or status you are, China is a great place for you to learn and challenge your bottom heart and conscience!

Who never bias? Who never mix business and personal (公私分明), details could refer my article on “Family + Business”. If you are stubborn and possess noble principal please go to other website because you are not suitable to work and stay in China. Before carry  on reading you must accept the facts that are you willing to sacrifice your morality (道德观念) and your principal in ethical business behavior? Not many people can do it but once you become money-minded person your desire will slowly drive you into this ugly boundary, may or may not return depends on your internal will power.

Why so serious because China is a place rely fully on connections and relationships in order to survive. Remember every connection require monetary beneficial to harvest for future backup or request help when you got into troubles, personal or business are the same. Time may takes you years but is worthwhile to cultivate till it become great harvest, sometimes maybe is life and death or bankruptcy and jail. This is a thousand years of China culture, whenever you do anything here, connection could speed up the process like business registration through cut queue or save you a fortune in goods smuggling. Breaking laws, rules and regulations hence becoming very common in China like pirated DVD, even USA couldn’t control China market in copyrights, main reason because connections network is using money to maintain in all business together with government corruptions! Typical example is Hong Kong legendary police officer Lei Luo (雷洛) using connection to build up his great corruption empire network.

Relationships is different from connection because no money involvement, purely on feelings and emotions. Example would you able to see your love ones in mortal danger without lifting a finger to save her (见死不救)? The ranking from the least feelings to the most passionate emotions are friendships – relatives – family – love. Love represents your wife or your love ones and could easily betray friendships, relatives and family because love is numb and blindfolded (爱情是麻木的)! Do you think all drama and movie are frictional in betrayal of relationship or because the writer don’t willing to reveal the truth, or maybe hiding for his friends? The power in relationship is far beyond than connection. Imagine when a millionaire or a governor helping his son could lose everything even his entire fortune (倾家荡产) and betray everyone but to save his beloved son! Money will only become a tool in saving his son but the heart in sacrifice is the most esteem (敬重), highly morality (品德) and true (真诚) to live forever!

So above philosophy does happen in real life and very often in China. Connections are everyday tool to survive and relationship may only occur once in a lifetime, maybe good in sacrifice or maybe evil in betrayal!
